The other day one of my pregnant friends told me that my line, Nager By Nic Hyl, should make swimsuits for pregnant women. While that is definitely one go my long term goals for my business, it’s currently on our short term list of gold. I still want to help any pregnant women, however tackle this swimsuit obstacle and provide a great list of brands that cater to just that market.
First, what to look for? As always, FIT is the main component, imo. No matter what you’re wearing, if the fit is off, it doesn’t matter how beautiful the outfit is, you’ll look half as great as you could. So get a good fitting maternity suit; whether that’s a 2pc, 1 pc or tankini. The next important thing, would be comfort. Stay away from anything too tight on your belly, it definitely won’t be fun to wear that when the fabric is wet. So find your suit, pack your bags on go on your pre-push vacay. You deserve the rest.
ASOS: One of my absolute favorite online shops! They sell swimwear and maternity swimweear too! This great site carries some of the best maternity swimsuits I saw in my research for this pot, and I would want to wear one if I were pregnant.
Seraphine Maternity: This site carries all things wardrobe related to maternity clothes. Their swimsuits are chic and sophisticated and enhance the belly very nicely. Check them out! Kate Hudson wore the style shown below during her pregnancy.
This mainstay in maternity fashion, goes without saying, A Pea In the Pod. It’s a great site to visit for your maternity swimwear needs. I love this teal color strapless bandeau 1pc!
